.my day at the scdf.
me, being ME, signed up for this scdf course to learn first aid and the like. i realized i had to go alone cus unlike me, not many people would really be interested in an scdf course from 9am to 5pm on a sunday.. i wasnt either, i was there just for the cip. after considering several factors, at about 11pm, i came to the conclusion that perhaps going alone wouldnt be such a good idea. almost everyone i knew had sth on considering it was father's day. so, i asked raja. oh what a doll he is. he agreed to follow me.
the day started out pretty bad. we didn know where the cc was or how to get there but raja managed to find out.. we managed to find the cc *at bukit merah* and discovered that our names were not on the list but we managed to get that settled only to discover yet another problem - everyone there wasn't really of the school going age. =) ohboy. we were kinda like outcasts but later, they warmed up. =)
we were quite prepared to die of boredom but ended up having tonnes of fun. in fact, i can't wait for the next two modules.
raja, being such a tall member of society and grp 3 *the grp we belonged to* was highly useful in taping black bags on the windows without using a ladder and in our super enthusiastic group leader's words "if dn have the tall tall boy, sure die (from the gas leak) one."
i also learnt that perhaps i've put on weight cus, the lady almost dropped me while trying out some evacuation thing.
all in all, the course was really fun. we managed to entertain each other, laugh continuously at things which were going on and we managed to finally fit in. yay!
raja was sucha sweetheart today and its prolly cus of him that i learnt sth while having so much fun. and i also realized that tho we dn really talk all that often, he really came thru for me today and i really appreciate it. so,
